They are understaffed. No bell hops. Restaurant takes 90 min to serve food. Ordering drinks takes 20 min. New hotel in need of serious management.
Absolutely astonishingly awesome downhill bike trails FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS. Seriously, you can have fun here even as a beginner. The $20 twilight lift pass is a super deal. It's like a faster wider kingdom trails with a chairlift. RIDE IT.
Decent mountain but the snow can be icy. I have been up here 3 years in a row and a couple of the times were not awesome. The price is reasonable and the hill is laid out nicely. Lower lifts are all green/blue and upper are black/blue which works out nicely. Plenty of lifts and not crowded when conditions are right.
Such a nice place also during summer... when I came they where having a car race... from the top of the mountain throughout the camping zone.
This resort has a great potential. BUT! We spent a week here at the end of December 2017. It was cold, but the skiing conditions could have been great. Yet, the Mid Burke Express lift only operated every other day. Even if it operated, it would start late. When we complained, the staff would give us very different and apparently false explanations. While paying full price, we were not able to use the full potential of the resort as some pistes were not accessible and the rest was crowded or booked for private races.
